For six years, desks, booths and a conference room for freelancers, students and small teams — pay for the hours you use, keep the rest of your month free. The Mastermind Hub closed its doors in December 2025.
Overview
Built for people who worked for themselves.
The Hub opened in 2019 to give Marikina's remote workers and students a proper desk without a long-term lease or a commute into the city.
It ran on a simple sub-leasing model: you were charged for the length of stay, hourly, weekly or monthly, with no commitment beyond it. It was also where the MSV teams sat — which meant the space was run by people who used it every day and fixed what didn't work.
In 2022 the Hub left Lilac Street for Anonas, Cubao, beside TIP, where it ran as The Nook — gaming, trading cards, board games and coworking in one venue. It closed in December 2025.

Hot desks
Walk in, take a desk, pay for the time you stay. Built for freelancers and remote staff who need quiet and a reliable connection.
Call booths & soundbooth
Private cubicles for client calls and interviews, plus a treated booth for recording — no more taking meetings from the corner of a café.
Conference room
A closed room with a screen for team offsites, client meetings, training sessions and workshops — bookable by the hour or the day.
Study areas & group sessions
Students and study groups book by the hour, especially through exam season and thesis stretches.
Photo & video shoots
The space — including the green wall and zen garden — is available for shoots and content days outside peak coworking hours.

Where it went
Closed, but not wasted.
- Started at 88 Lilac Building, Lilac St. cor. Panorama St., Concepcion Dos, Marikina City — in the middle of the restaurant row.
- Moved to Anonas, Cubao, beside TIP, in 2022, and ran there as The Nook.
- Closed December 2025.
- What it taught us about running a floor, serving walk-ins and scheduling staff now runs through Contemporary Nook and Keeper.
